Beech Home Inspections provides an expert, detailed inspection of the home you are buying. Our licensed home inspectors are professional architects, engineers and contractors. We also do commercial and institutional inspections as well as special problem analysis.

At the completion of the inspection, we provide a clear, understandable report about the home's condition with information on maintenance, service life expectancy and the likely costs for repairs or replacements. You will want to keep your report handy as an operations manual for your new home. Payment is expected upon delivery of the report. Photos, with notes, will be sent out in the next day's mail or can be picked up at our office.

Our prices are competitive. The fee for a regular home inspection is calculated at $.15 per square foot of total built square footage, ie Heated and Unheated, with a minimum fee of $275.00.

Commercial and Institutional Inspections: Detailed reports, with photos, are customized for each project and the fee is based on square footage as well as time required for the project. A team of specialists is assembled for large or complicated inspections. Prior to inspection, a retainer is required with balance of fee to be paid upon delivery of the report. Recent inspections have included restaurants, apartment blocks, extended care facilities, group homes, churches, offices and warehouse facilities.

New Home Under Construction Following Service:
periodic visits to your new home with photos and reports on items of concern as well as a photo log of progress for your records. This service is available from initial siting to final inspection for $.30 per square foot or a minimum of $700.00.

Stucco Evaluation and Testing: EIFS and hard coat systems. Includes a detailed, understandable, graphic report with results of moisture testing; and, photos showing likely extent of any damage to your home.
These additional services are available:

• Forensic reports, claims preparation, expert witness testimony
• Preparation of bidding documents for repairs or replacement
• Management of the bidding and reconstruction process 

Special Problems: Technical analysis of difficult building related issues with custom reports can be provided as well as professionally designed, drawn and sealed repair documents suitable for competitive bidding. Supervision and inspection of reconstruction is available. Fees will be established before work is undertaken.
